Overview

The Housekeeping module helps your staff efficiently manage room cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and operational tasks. It ensures every housekeeping activity is assigned, tracked, and completed on time, improving room readiness and guest satisfaction.

The module is divided into three main sections:

  • Tasks – Manage daily housekeeping tasks.
  • Templates – Create reusable task templates.
  • Rooms – Monitor the real-time housekeeping status of every room.

Housekeeping Workflow​

A typical housekeeping flow in BluEarn PMS is:

  1. Guest checks out.
  2. A housekeeping task is automatically created or you can create manually.
  3. The room status changes to Dirty.
  4. The task is assigned to an available staff member or assigned later if no one is available.
  5. The staff member starts the task from their PMS account.
  6. After cleaning, the room moves to Inspection.
  7. Once approved, the room status changes to Active and becomes ready for the next guest.

This automated workflow helps hotels maintain operational efficiency, reduce manual coordination, and ensure every room is guest-ready on time.
