Rooms Status

The Rooms section provides a real-time housekeeping view of every room in the property. This module reflects the physical housekeeping status of each room.

Housekeeping staff and supervisors can instantly identify which rooms require attention.

Common room statuses include:

• Active – Room is ready for guest allocation.
• Dirty – Room requires cleaning.
• Cleaning – Housekeeping staff is currently cleaning the room.
• Inspection – Cleaning is complete and waiting for supervisor inspection.
• Recleaning – The room failed inspection and requires cleaning again.
• Inactive – Room is temporarily unavailable.
• Occupied – Guest is currently staying in the room.

These live statuses help supervisors prioritize work, assign resources efficiently, and ensure rooms are prepared before guest check-in.

Room Status Management

Room housekeeping statuses such as Dirty, Cleaning, Inspection, Recleaning, and Active are updated automatically based on the progress and completion of housekeeping tasks. These statuses cannot be changed manually. Only Inactive, Maintenance, and Suspended statuses can be updated manually from the Room Management module.
